Montanwerke Brixlegg

Roof system

For “Montanwerke Brixlegg” we planned and built a 400 kWp roof system, and obtained an OeMAG grant. The realization of the project was done in co-orporation with the operating company SolPV. “Montanwerke Brixlegg” has produced silver and copper for more than 550 years in Tyrol. Today the company is a 100 percent recycling business with over 300 employees. They are very dedicated to the protection of the environment and operate 3 small hydropower stations on the Alpbach with a total capacity of 18,1 MW, additionally to the PV-system.

„We have been producing green energy for over 50 years with our small hydropower stations. Our guiding principles state that we should maintain sustainable handling of ressources, which is why we decided to also use our roof area to produce more clean energy. Selina accompanied this process in a very professional and efficient way – from the first step of planning, to the construction phase, up to the system operation.“
